Application and Admission Information

Download and print the appropriate application, some programs may require supplemental materials and/or a separate application submitted to the department.

Spring Program

Available only to upper division UC students. Non UCD students must work with their advisor and their university registrar to establish an Intercampus Visitor Program.

Once an application is approved, students register via UCD SISWEB. Students will take a full 15 units and will be in class M-F for the first half of the quarter. The second half of the quarter is more flexible while students work on individual research projects. More information will be provided after the application deadline. Room and board costs at BML are similar to on-campus dorm housing. Unit/course fees are the same as on campus.

Application deadline for spring courses is January 31.

Summer Program

Available to all college level students who are junior or senior standing. Prerequisites are considered a guide. Faculty may waive certain prerequisites after discussion with students. Unofficial transcripts are required. Enrollment instructions will be given once applications are approved which will be within one month after the application deadline. Additional information will be sent. Non UC students will have a higher tuition cost to be determined by UCD in late spring each year. For additional information on course fees please see UCD Summer Sessions. Room and board costs at BML are in addition to course fees and are comparable to on campus dorm housing.

It is typical for students to take all courses in each sequence. Priority acceptance will be given to students that apply for all courses in each sequence.
