Aquatic Resources
The Aquatic Resources Group (ARG) is an on site group of staff generalists, biologists, and technicians who, in addition to maintaining the labs’ core functions, also facilitate research for remote and in-house scientists. This includes the design and assembly of custom aquatic systems, the culture of study animals and food items, specimen collection, scientific diving, instrumentation and the collection environmental data, and marine operations. ARG can be useful in situations where it is too costly to assemble, equip, re-train, or to send a researcher’s own technicians. ARG charges on an hourly basis with no limit on project times. Time and cost estimates are available in advance.
