The Dr. Donald L. Mykles Distinguished Lecture Series
The Dr. Donald L. Mykles Distinguished Lecture Series annually recognizes a leader in the field of integrative biology in marine or coastal environments by inviting them to deliver a research seminar and community lecture at the Bodega Marine Laboratory (BML) of the University of California Davis.
2023's featured lecturer, Dr. Melissa Pespeni, delivered a research seminar on August 14th and a community lecture on August 16th.

This day-long symposium will bring together researchers from the natural and social sciences to discuss the state of research on the influence of extreme heat on organisms, communities, and socio-ecological systems.
