My general research interests surround invasive species and how different populations adapt to different environments. Right now, I am studying brown algae, both native and invasive, along the California coast and how they respond to various abiotic stressors. Specifically, I am interested in examining how abiotic stressors affect the gametophyte stage of the algae life cycle and how these effects may influence community composition.
