Nicole Adams, Ph.D.

Using genomic, physiological, and morphological data across climate gradients, I aim to understand thermal tolerance adaptation of North American migratory songbirds in collaboration with the Bird Genoscape Project.  Additionally, working with Dr. Lisa Tell at the UC Davis School of Veterinarian Medicine, I am identifying the population structure of Anna's Hummingbird, Calypte anna, using whole genome sequencing to examine range expansions and human-wildlife interactions.
